My son started at Yoseikan-Ryu Karate Ocean Reef last year at the age of 5 and the instructors have been nothing but supportive of him and his progress. It's a very friendly and professional environment and the main instructor Owen is excellent and a lot of fun. On top of all that it is great value - highly recommend!

All the trainers, and especially Owen, are really dedicated and good with all the students. There is a lovely welcoming atmosphere and I love the fact that all ages train together. My 8 year old adds that he likes that the techniques are taught really precisely, yet is still fun.

Yoseikan-Ryu Karate - Ocean Reef
I joined Yoseikan with my 6 year old son 11 years ago, Yoseikan are a great family as well as a great school. It has been amazing to watch my young lad grow in confidence and ability over the years. Owen Blockley at Yoseikan Ocen Reef school has supported his growth so that he could take part in local and state karate teams, advance to junior black belt and now teach and mentor younger children. Owen is one of the best teachers of children I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend Yoseikan Karate as a sport and life choice for both children and adults.

I love this club. The teaching of karate is at a high technical standard in a friendly athmospere. Owen is excellent. It has classes for different ages and abilities. It is recommended for all, from 5 to 99 years old.
